Abstract This article investigates new perspectives on ecocriticism through the works of Flemish poet Dominique De Groen. Taking Timothy Morton’s notion ‘dark ecology’ as a starting point, it argues that Groen’s poetry represents form anthropocenic writing exceeds scope traditional ecocriticism.
